Bali is fully booked for Christmas and New Year. So, what to do???
Bali tourism business is recovering better and better in this couple years. For next Christmas and New Year 2008/2009, Bali hotels are really fully booked. No room available. So what to do?....
Here is may suggestion for you….
Come to Bali in before Christmas, rooms are still available on that period. Then go out from Bali. This is the time for you to explore beyond Bali, other interesting destinations of Indonesia. And... come back to Bali after the New year, stay and relax in couple days, then flight back home.
There are alot of beyond Bali activities:
See the pre-historic Giant lizard, the Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat at Komodo National Park. Only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Denpasar – Bali to Labuanbajo Flores then boating for 3 hours to Komodo island. You will have the opportunity to see other wildlife of Komodo National Park, great snorkeling, and relax on nice beach on a remote island.
Lombok Island
Just want to relax on a nice Beach. Go to Lombok, a neighbors island of Bali. It take only 30 – 40 minutes flight from Denpasar (Bali) to Mataram (Lombok). See the native Sasak and their traditional villages, white sandy beaches, summer palaces at Narmada, hand weaving and pottery industries.
Yogyakarta – Java
Visit one of the seven world wonders "Borobudur" Temple, Prambanan Hindu Temple, Sultan Palace, Batik factory.
Flores Island
Explore Flores Island: magnificent view of Kelimutu - the Three Color Lakes, traditional houses, "ikat" weaving and traditional villages, learn their tradition.
Toraja - South Sulawesi
Toraja land, the land of hanging grave, in South Sulawesi..
Central Kalimantan
See the Orang Utans at their natural habitat - Tanjung Puting National Park
Sumba Island
Sumba is famous for its traditional villages with high peaked thatched roof traditional house, giant megalithic tomb, and spectacular "ikat" weaving.
East Kalimantan
